Who am I?

I’m Ian, I am a Welsh documentary wedding photographer based in Bristol. I love cake, vegetarian food, proper coffee, fresh bread, my wife, Emrys our junior human and our four legged friend Basil. As well as a liking for all things sweet, furry and flavoursome, I love a bit of documentary wedding photography.

I’m 37, live in Bristol and share my house with Vickie, Emrys and our lovable hound. Brought up on the outskirts of the Gower Peninsular in Wales, my parents loved photography and always encouraged me to express myself creatively. When I was 5 or 6 I was given a little red Konica Pop camera and used it on trips to nature reserves and wildlife parks.

My father, a keen amateur photographer would always give me hints and tips on how to compose a photograph. He would also make us pose for a ridiculous amount of time in front of some random monument. Something that I have never forgotten and something that I would never wish to force upon anyone!
