There is no denying, looking for a wedding photographer is an absolute minefield. What kind of coverage would you like?
Do you favour more posed or candid shots? What the hell does candid mean anyway? What are the advantages and disadvantages of both and do I really need 23 group shots?
If I had one very simple piece of advice for anyone looking to tie the knot it would be this; the blog is where it's at.
Any photographer can take 50 of their best photos and turn it into an impressive portfolio. However bear in mind, these are their very best photos, from maybe 100s of weddings. If you want a true representation of the set of photos you are likely to get, head to their blog. You can then see one entire wedding from preparations to first dance, rather than the photographer's best bits of the last few years! This should give you a better feel for the coverage you are likely to get and may make your final decision that much easier.
Take a look below at some of my recent weddings, these will give you a very good idea of what you can expect if you book me as your wedding photographer.
