My name is Ian Jeffery and I am a cake eating, sweet consuming, wedding loving, dog obsessed, documentary wedding photographer based just outside Cardiff, Wales.
Documentary wedding photography is what I love to do, I serve Cardiff, Bristol, Newport, Bath and the UK. My wedding photography will give you a unique and authentic record of your wedding day without hanging around all day for posed photographs. Weddings are about all the little things that make up the day, they are all about you, and all about your guests, documentary wedding photography means that those moments that might pass you by will be recorded. Documentary wedding photography will show you and your guests off in their best and most natural light, nobody stands around with fixed grins, with their hands placed awkardly on eachother, so why should your wedding photography be full of these sorts of shots.
My style of photography is perfect if you have a unique style of wedding, be it Humanist, Asian, Budhist, Jewish or if you are earthly loving hippies, my style of documentary wedding photography will suit all. I am also an animal lover and successful pet photographer, you can check out my work over at www.poochography.co.uk, so if you intend to bring your dogs or other pets to your wedding, bring them along, it would be fantastic to get them involved.
As documentary wedding photography is a little different to your average wedding photographer, both in terms of final product and planning, it is important before your big day that we meet up to have a chat and to get to know each other. You can then tell me all about you, how you met, your likes and dislikes and what you have planned for your fabulous wedding day. Every wedding is totally unique, this getting to know you stage is very important as it is the tiny details and unique personalities that lend themselves to true documentary wedding photography. Finding out about what you want from your photography is vital in producing high quality imagery.
After the wedding, you get your images of your awesome day on a nice shiny DVD, where you can do whatever you want with them, print them, facebook them, tweet them, email them, anything them. Your wedding photos are special to you, therefore, you get them all, in low resolution, high resolution and as a slideshow to show your family and friends.
